Family and Friends. We hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend celebrating with the ones we love and hold dear. As the unofficial start of summer, this is where we heat up. You know it’s the season when the music gets turned up an extra notch in the car or the backyard for the cookout. It’s a special time and we look forward to all the music coming out in the coming days, and weeks ahead.
This week we receive news that the “God MC”, Rakim (Allah) will return after a 15-year hiatus with an album of new music. Common and Pete Rock reload for a new single off their forthcoming joint album ‘The Auditorium Vol.1’ and we feature new music from independent artist I.L Cleveland Own.

Our Hip Hop’s Greatest Producer tournament highlighting 64 of the culture’s greatest musical masterminds has come down to the Final 2! Will it be the man regarded as the greatest producer in Hip Hop history Dr.Dre or the producer who ushered in a new era in the 2000’s and still going today, Ye (formerly known as Kanye West)? Voting will end this week, and the people will decide who is the Master of the Board.
